Green Beans Almondine
Almonds or almond slivers
1/2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp ghee/ or butter
You can boil your green beans in hot water…or you can do the quick easy way! In a microwave safe dish—add about 2 tbsp of water and add about 1/2-1 lb of green beans (depending on how many people you are cooking for.) I used a little less than 1/2 lb and served 2—no leftovers. Heat in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes—when finished the green beans should be be a nice bright green.
Heat the ghee in a sauté pan—once melted and hot..add the chopped almonds. Toast on medium for about 5 minutes or until nice and toasty. Add garlic, green beans and lemon. Cook all together for a few more minutes.
