Spaghetti & Meatballs

This is another recipe that has been passed down.. as I've mentioned before, my mom is THE BEST cook. I was lucky to have her as my own personal chef growing up. ;) I hope you enjoy these meatballs as much as we do! 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean group beef

  • 1/3 c Italian bread crumbs

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 c mozzarella

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Method

Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Roll them into your desired size.. Brown meatballs in 1 tbsp of olive oil on medium, flipping every few minutes (they will lose he perfect circle shape most likely, but don't worry about it!) Once browned on all sides, reduce heat to low, add Rao's marinara sauce and simmer for 30 minutes (or until cooked)! You can check by taking a meatball out and cutting in half. 

For a lower carb option, use a veggie based spaghetti. I used POW, lentil! It was delicious.
