Mushroom alfredo, also known as adult mac-n-cheese!
1 box @eatbanza
1 container of @traderjoes mushroom medley Alfredo sauce
1 cherry tomatoes
3 @traderjoes jalapeño sausage
A little bit of pasta water!
Boil water in a pot. Add the banza, cook for about 6-8 minutes. Drain (reserve about 1/4 c pasta water, maybe less?) and rinse with cold water.
While the pasta is cooking, in a large skillet add a little bit of olive oil, add the sliced sausage. Cook for a few minutes and then add the sauce and tomatoes. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat! Add the pasts & a little bit of pasta water. The sauce will get a little liquidy but it will thicken up.
I served with sautéed broccolinni! Heat a skillet with olive oil, add the 🥦 & cover. Cook for about 5 minutes and then flip it!
Reminder: I’ve said it before but…when cooking with Banza use extra water!!!!
